"Our folks are still talking about Friday’s Roll Out Meeting and "The Great Raft Adventure" at Xtreeme Challenge" Allen Downum Fireside Hearth & Home VP & GM of the Southeast Region (Click to see poster) |

We birthed "The Great Raft Adventure" from The Navy Seals training program. We added a civilian twist to how we work with our teams to produce true team building results. Is your group up for a really fun challenge? Or maybe the land version The Outdoor Adventure Trail will do! |
What if your group was given the
exact same materials as two other groups.

The Great Raft Adventure starts at our Fire Circle where teams are formed (team structure is variable). These teams are debriefed on the objectives and challenges ahead of them. Three easels are given out enabling each team time to draw a raft design that uses all of the materials found in the bays. Each team has the exact same set of materials that needs to be used completely in the design of the raft. Once assembled captains are identified to set sail on the rafts and capture the flag on our lake. The entire team assists with transporting the raft to and from the lake and cheering them on. The easel serves to illustrate the final design and it holds the final time for the awards ceremony at The Fire Circle. |
