Pay It Forward Field Trip Program
Within the counties of Mecklenburg and Union we have identified schools that are unable to send students on educational field trips.
These day long programs represent a big part of the students
learning experience. Sadly many schools do not have enough financial parent
support to add this critical growth process to the curriculum. That means
thousands of students never leave the school.
At our facility we spend time teaching math, science and language arts in a different way. Students are engaged in our Challenge Walk and Outdoor Adventure Trails having fun just like our corporate clients. Our discussions in sub groups focuses in on school lessons that involve reading out loud and problem solving. From these activities we discuss the logic of math and science that a text book is not able to achieve. Every student is free to process outside the box in his or her learning style. This is a total game changer with just one 4 hour session!
So far our Pay It Forward Program
will touch over 100 children as we at Xtreeme Challenge lead by example and
sponsor a local 5th grade class in Union County. We also have another sponsor
working with 50 select students from Hawthorne High School.
We are not able to do this alone and need partners.
Our joint program with select schools allows you to give directly to the schools just for a field trip to Xtreeme Challenge.
The principals of the schools collect your money as if you where the parent for those kids. You can sponsor a student for a reduced cost of $35 per child. Typically a school bus is the mode of transportation and it can hold about 50 students. We operate differently then a public facility. At Xtreeme Challenge students come on a day just for them without other schools or the general public being on our campus. It's a special day! This private venue is vital in today's culture allowing for greater in depth discussions and security.
A sponsorship of one bus would cost $1750 provided the school can use an activity bus and pay for the gas. The school system is not in the business of paying for field trips. Parents typically pay for this. Our economy has the students we are talking about on state sponsored lunches. That simply means that a field trip is important but food is a critical need first.
Will your business or grant consider $1750 for 50 students?
You can also find a way to get involved with feeding the students on the day of the program.
The illustration above shows one individual ,grant, company or church giving to one school and the impact.
We will create an 18 x 26 printed poster with your name on it and the faces of all the children that you touched with this program. This very same poster will be hanging in the school creating excitement. The photography, the creation of the poster and the printing is our gift back to you and the school. These children feel special having the chance to be professionally photographed and when they see the poster it reminds them of how special the day was! It will do the same for you when you can see the results of your giving.

My wife Diana and I will be the lead facilitators working
directly with the principals, teachers and students of Charlotte and Monroe North
Carolina. Our other facilitators working with us are Wingate College Students
who come along side these students as role models.
When was the last time you knew for sure the money you gave was a home run like this?
Please call Michael Valentine at 704-236-6729 for a list of the schools close to you.
